Spring musical, Frozen Jr., was a sellout success! With over 400 seats filled with family, friends, and community, the cast’s hard work paid off. Directed by Mrs. Jennifer Drury and Mrs. Jen Harden Green, the Cross Schools Theatre Department produced an amazing show that was wonderful for all ages to attend.
The cast and tech crew included: Elsa – Lilly Brashear, Anna – Maggie Drury, Olaf – Lucia Carbone, Kristoff – Jacob Reeves, Sven – Sonya Nadolski, Hans – Courage Flahive, Oaken – Gretchen Holmes, Pabbie – Ariella Di Palma, Bulda – Alexa Landskowsky, Middle Elsa – Arabella King, Middle Anna- Ava Traywick, Young Elsa – Cadence Copcutt, Young Anna – Emma Curcio, Queen Iduna – Luna Rangel, King Agnar -Willian Grimsley, Bishop – William Grimsley, Duke of Weselton – Emerson Cannon.
Ensemble: Griffin Brashear, Bret Burnette, Harper Frisbee, Hailey Gerber, Preston Grimsley, Ella Holmes, Isabella Mansilla, and Hannah Parnell.
Tech Crew: Reese Lo, Connor Ready, Jadyn Hedges, Julie Kim, Gracie Shultzman, Ella Land, Emma Caron, Amelia Green, Aubrey Fredrickson, Kelly McGuire, and Hadassah Sibert.
Lucia Carbone who played the character Olaf sums it up: “The play is a magical experience for all ages. It truly brings the movie to life and allows the audience to experience Arendelle for themselves. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be in this musical with everyone involved. The whole experience has been enjoyable, and I am excited to be able to bring Olaf to life!” Lilly Brashear who played the character Elsa, remarks that “being a senior and this being my last school production it has been such an honor to be in this show and [play] Elsa. I grew up watching Frozen and seeing my favorite childhood movie come to life has been such a cool and amazing experience. I am so grateful to be part of this cast and getting to enjoy my last show with some of my best friends! I cannot express how grateful I am to the directors and everyone who has helped bring Frozen to life.”
